Post Doctoral Molecular Immunologist Wanted
A post-doctoral Molecular immunologist is wanted for a two-year position in
the Dental School on the Newark campus of UMDNJ. The successful applicant
will be expected to contribute to two projects. The first is related to the
relative expression of genes controlling immune-mediated bone metabolism in
man and the definition of genetic markers as indices of this. The second is
related to the immunology of human interleukin-19 and its receptor.
Hands-on skills related to RT-PCR, long-read sequencing, SNP and
microsatellite typing will be advantageous, especially if set against a
background of inflammation, autoimmunity or cellular immunology.
Applicants should have completed their PhD studies and submitted their
thesis, at the very minimum, prior to taking up the appointment. This
position is available immediately and the appointee will join a new group
