A Question About Suppressor T Cells...

"Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary" describes "suppresser T cells" as
though
they exist, while an immunology book mentions that suppressor T cells may be
myth.

Do they exist? Would a suppresser T cell simply be an
interleukin-10-producing
Helper T cell that stopped "seeing" interleukin-12?

Thanks!

Dan
