Research Technician, Postdoctoral Fellow, Graduate Students
A position of Postdoctoral fellow and Research Associate / technician is
available in my laboratory to study: 1) The regulatory mechanisms that
control DNA replication and S-phase cell-cycle checkpoint in mammalian
cells; (2) Genetic alterations that can change radiosensitivity in breast
and other human cancers. We extensively use molecular and cellular
biological techniques as well as proteomic approaches. Since the Research
Associate will be involved in the production of monoclonal antibodies,
relevant experience is required. Salary will be commensurate with relevant
experience.
Two graduate student positions are also available in my laboratory. An MSc
student can enroll through either Laurentian University (Department of
Biochemistry or Department of Biology) or the University of Ottawa Medical
School (Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology). A PhD
student can enroll only through the University of Ottawa. Substantial amount
of stipend is available for both MSc and PhD students.
We are interested in hearing from hard-working, self-motivated persons
only. Please send current curriculum vitae and the names and addresses of
three references to:
