Can anyone explain me exactly which molecules (cytokines, enzymes,
...) contained in the granules of basophils and/or mast cells (or
secreted in other ways) contribute to the clearance or to the
limitation of infection from helminths ? Most study texts refer to
these cell types as protective against multicellular pathogens but I
can't find a sure explanation ...
