This recipe works very well:
8.2g sodium acetate anhydrous
3.6g citric acid
dissolve in 600ml water then add:
270mg TMB (from Fluka) dissolved in 400ml methanol
store in dark at 4oC.
Add 5 micro litres of 30% hydrogen peroxide per 10ml TMB substrate immediately prior to use. Stop with 50microlitres 2N sulphuric acid.
