We are using a robotic pipettor to dispense ELISA reagents, and have found
introduction of a contaminant which affects colour development, increasing
the non-specific background. Based on the pattern of non-specific colour,
we believe that the contaminant is introduced at the step in which the
horseradish peroxidase-anti-human IgG is dispensed.
Can anyone suggest either the source of the contaminant, its nature, or a
possible solution to the problem ?
Regards,
Mark
