Immunology positions in Beverly MA
I am seeking innovative scientists with academic and experience-based
knowledge of humoral immunity. There are two positions available - one
at PhD level, the other is at BS level. Here are details on both for
your review:
Scientist (PhD)
The qualified individual will identify and implement immunological
approaches used to elucidate the antibody response induced by both
protein and carbohydrate based antigens.
Qualified applicants will have:
A Ph.D. in immunology or a related field
At least two years of post-graduate experience in an academic or
industrial environment
A strong background in humoral immunology
Experience sufficient to be able to define, recommend and implement
approaches for solving issues related to immune monitoring
Proven experience with immunologic assay development and optimization
Experience with the evaluation of clinical samples
Knowledge of clinical assay validation methods
The other position is a Research Technologist/Scientist (BS level).
Here are the details:
Qualified applicants will have:
BS degree in biochemistry, immunology, cell biology or related field
One to three years of full time laboratory research experience
Experience with various laboratory techniques including: ELISA,
SDSPAGE, Western blot, Enzymology, Chromatography
Experience with MS Office Suite, Systat (or similar graphics/statistics
package)
Experience with serology or MT(ASCP) certification (or equivalent) a
plus
Experience working in a GMP/GLP environment a plus
Job duties include:
Participate in assay development and validation in support of the ECO
process
Directly support clinical trials by coordinately testing clinical
samples
Enzymatically convert red blood cells and analyze the ECO product
Order reagents, equipment and laboratory supplies and assist in
maintenance of general laboratory organization and upkeep
Assist in the development of SOPs related to and performed by the ECO
group
