We are trying to get a feel for what other sites do for daily/batch run
QCs for flow cytometers. At our lab we currently run fluorescent beads
(Flow Check) at the beginning of the day as a QC for our Beckman Coulter
instrument (Epics XL-MCL), as well as a automated Flow Set protocol
using beads prior to each specific assay.
Do any of you run other types of QCs daily (live samples - high med
low), or run beads at the beginning and end of each batch run or each
day? We want to make sure our procedures are not only best practice, but
in line with industry standards.
Can you please respond and let us know what type of facility you are -
R&D, CRO, GMP production, etc. and what type of instrument you are
running? Thank you for your input!!!
