in some cases it is wise to *prepare* your reaction in different labs, with 
different pipettes etc even. But you don't need to worry about the PCR 
block. Once the tubes are ready... take them wherever you like. The only way 
I can imagine to get contamination from the block is if you have some 
Houdini DNA on it.
