Expression under T7 Control with Rifampicin?

Hi there,

I'm looking for a protocol to puls-express a protein selectively. The
protein is under control of a T7 promotor and I recall that I once had
a protocol that used rifampicin to selectively shut off the coli
RNA-Pol so that only T7-controlled protein expression takes place. This
was from a protocol for S-35 labeling of proteins.

Any ideas?
