Protein aggregation after purification: Imidazole?

Hi Lisa: 
   
  At the moment I'm trying to purify a viral protein (which I expressed in bacterial system) and I'm having a similar problem (like the one you had in 2001) when dialyzing to a low imidazole concentration buffer.
   
  I wonder if you were able to solve the problem and how did you do it? 
   
  I hope you can still remember and give me a hand with this.
