Yes, but when  you've just poured your milliionth gels, after an
earlier one that leaked, and another one which won't showed you the
little peptide you hoped to see, and your colleague on a well-funded
grant just showed you his beautiful gel of his peptides ran on his
pre-cast gel, then you start wondering if perhaps if you should start
digging into your pocket and pay for that pre-cast gel. 

Well, only (ONLY! Gasp!) £10 a throw, what the hell.
