Historians believe that in newspost <5d9u6aF33eqjhU2 from mid.individual.net>
on Wed, 13 Jun 2007, Jose de las Heras <josenet from tiscali.co.uk> penned
the following literary masterpiece:
>The Superscript III is an improved version of II, I think, with higher
>processivity.

II is a simple point mutation in the RNaseH domain of wt MMLV RT,
basically knocking it out.

III is a multiple mutant enzyme that is still RNAseH minus but has a
much much longer half life at 50C (4hrs or so). Processivity I'm pretty
sure stays the same as SS II which is same as wt MMLV RT.

Superscript I is a deletion mutant of MMLV RT where the RNAseH domain is
removed.

RnaseH domain is roughly 1/3 of whole protein and at the C terminal end.

I love deadlines. I especially like the whooshing noise they make as
they go flying by.
