plasmid curing (Tom Anderson)

I must admit I never herd of the EtBr/AO method, but its good to learn ;-)

Any idea why does it effect only the plasmid?

We used the plasmid curing by plasmid method in Gerchman et al (2001),
Biochemistry 40(11):3403-12. I do not remember how well is it described there.
