Try 'Ape' - A Plasmid Editor from  http://www.biology.utah.edu/jorgensen/
wayned/ape/

Ape is similar to strider but far more advanced. It has many useful 
features to work with plasmid sequence and it also reads/writes strider 
and genbank formats.
