Re a request for brain maps, the closest there exists for a
complete brain map is in frogs and the amount missing is
extraordinary. You might do better by restricting the question
to some functional system. Then you might find some mythical
maps from which to start. The problem is that even if you know
what is connected to what, that does not give a clue (or at
least not a very large clue) as to what does this do for that.
Neuroscientists are notorious for describing more than they
know and less than is fact.
