Questions About Dreams?

Hi,

Many questions about dreams are puzzling me.

How do I see the things which I never imagined in my life? Where
from brain gets the info? For example, once I saw that I am
travelling by sitting at the roof of an aeroplane. Is it that
some part of the brain has information about aeroplane, some
other part has information about me sitting, and while sleeping
brain randomly combine these two information, resulting I am
sitting on the roof of the aeroplane?

Sometime I see in dreams that I am doing some work at home or
watching T.V or something, My friend is supposed to call me (in
the dream), after sometime phone rings, so I go to pick up the
phone and suddenly wake up finding that that phone is really
ringing. It can not be the coincidence because similar things
have happend many times. So how it happens? Is it that brain
cooks up a story after hearing the phone ring while in sleep
state?

Can somebody answer these questions, Thanks,

sajid
