ASL, the leading manufacturer of eye trackers, is offering
for a limited time an eye tracker cum software interface for
the price of the eye tracker alone. The eye tracker is ASL's
entry level Model 210. The software (plus an interface
board) handles PC data acquisition, calibration, recording,
and analysis. This bundled system is being offered now for
USD 7,495.00. Prices are scheduled to return to the normal
ca. $14K level in mid-December.
The device is a natural for saccade studies and is
compatible with the EYEHEAD subsystem for measuring point-
of-gaze regardless of head movements.
SUMMARY SPECS
Technique - IR diode emitter and pair of sensors, very close
to each eye, mounted on a spectacle frame or on a headband.
Sensors pick up differential light reflectance signal from
iris/white-of-eye boundary.
Sampling Rate - 1000Hz.
Accuracy - +/-1 degree in horizontal dimension, +/-2 deg.,
vertical.
Standard Outputs - Analog and 8 bit parallel digital ports
for each eye. Video cursor superimposition for gaze studies.
