Correction: I should have said that calpain-calcium theory of memory is
related, assuming conditioning (stp/ltp) has that mechanism. Habituation
has an unknown mechanism, and I'm beginning to learn that some of the
speculation about it is quite off the mark.
Relevant to this: what is the general take on Freeman's Mass Action
theory?
