Molecular biology has been used to study neuroscience questions for more
than a decade. Among the subject organisms commonly used are MUS
DOMESTICUS (a mouse) DROSOPHILA MELANOGASTER (a fruit fly), APLYSIA
CALIFORNICA (a mollusk), and CAENORHABDITIS ELEGANS (a round worm). A few
authors to look up in the literature include: T. Tully, J. Yin, E.
Kandel, and R. Malinow.
