My father was just diagnosed with Astrocytoma and I'm trying to locate as
much information on the variants of this tumor. The tumor is located in
his frontal left lobe. He has suffered for the past three years from
seizures ranging fron Grand Mall to what my mother has phrased
"mini-seizures." His condition was originally diagnosed and treated as a
stroke. Any information that you could provide would be greately
appreciated.
I particularly want to know the reasons why his condition was originally
diagnosed as a stroke based upon the results of an MRI that didn't include
the introduction of a "dye" into his blood stream. Moreover, for the most
part his seizures occur between the times of 4:00pm and 8:00pm. Aside
from his treatment schedules of dialantin and tegretol, are there any
other possible explanation?
