I would be very grateful if anybody could tell me where I can
obtain a comprehensive historic studies of muscle spindles in animals.
I'm doing some preliminary studies on this subject in some lower
animals. I have done some library searches on this subject but I only
found very little information. What I would like to know, in particular,
are: the year that functions of the muscle spindles were known and
intensively studied, what animals ( especially lower animals) have muscle
spindles been studied? and the histochemistry of the studied muscle
spindles.
