I do not believe that the human brain has a specifically designated principal
sulcus, however there is an area 46. The real issue is whether the areas are
homologous. This issue is unresolved. My colleague Dr. Pandya is presently
working on the issue of macaque/human prefrontal cortical homologies and I will
be pleased to ask him in january to render an opinion. In the meantime try "The
frontal Lobes" by Stuss and Benson. May be of some help in your quest. For
