In a previous article, wkwiltsi at cs-acad-lan.Lakeheadu.Ca (W K WILTSIE) says:

>I was wondering if any one had any knowledge of neuroprosthesis, or where I
>could find some. A friend of mine in Chemical engineering is having trouble
>finding info on it for a project. I personally have no knowledge on the
>subject. Thanks

What aspects of neuroprosthesis are you interested in? There are a lot
of works going on with spinal cord injury motor prosthesis. There are
also researches going on with visual and auditory prossthesis but I am
not as familiar with them. Most of works here at CWRU focus on the
basic and applied aspects of applied neural control. The design of a
safe and reliable electrode for stimulation is at the moment the priority
in the applied neural control laboratory (ANCL). At VA Hosptial, Dr. Marsolais
and others work closely with lower extremity prosthesis. Whereas a separate
but related group at the MetroHealth Hosptical is working on the upper
extremity prosthesis (Dr. Crago, Dr. Peckham, and Dr. Kirch.)
