There is a new book by Eric Kandel, James Schwartz and Thomas Jessel called
Essentials of Neural Science and Behavior. I've only seen an ad which
includes the table of contents. However, it looks good and may fit your
needs. It is published by Appleton and Lange, and due out in Jan, 1995
