I have been performing experiments on hippocampal neurons using puff application of modulatory agents.
I usually include the dye fast green to visualize the application. A collegue has mentioned that he has heard
that there might be unwanted effects of this dye on neurons, although he cant remember exactly what. Is anyone aware
of any such side effects of fast green? Thanks. Louis- Eric
