Hello,
I am wondering if anyone is aware of any recently published articles
or soon to be published references on histological work in the human orofacial
region. In other words, I am looking for papers that have histologically
identified mechano-receptive populations in the orofacial region in human.
I am aware of some work performed by Halata & Munger in primate, but the
published reports of human orofacial histology are scarce. Medline was not
much help on this topic. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly
appreciated.
