Does anyone have any practical info on doing mcaos in the rat?
1) How easy is it to measure CBF in rat. (ie what equipment is needed?)
2) Is electrocoagulation of the middle cerebral artery the only (usual)
accepted method? What about ligating (if one is able to do this without
ripping artery?)
3) Best locale for consistent ischemic results?
Practical advice would be most appreciated!
