I'm a junior in the Molecular Genetics program at the University of
Rochester. I plan on staying a fifth year and designing a major of
"Molecular Genetics and Psychobiology", or something like that. Due to
program requirements and almost masochistic scheduling on my part, I will
probably graduate somewhere in the 3.0-3.3 GPA range. I don't think I could
get into an m.d. program with my grades and it might be a waste of time. I
would like to do genetic research in anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders
and drug receptivity. Any ideas would be *greatly* appreciated - programs,
good papers not to miss, researchers in these areas, admission acceptance
tips, courses, systems I should become familiar with, research job
opportunities, *anything*...ANYTHING!!!!!!??????
Let me know if there's a better newsgroup for my plea. I'll cancel this
post if it's inappropriate.
Thanks for the $0.02. I'll pay you back when I can.
