Are you aware that some LY forms precipitate with K+ ions?
Have you bought the type that doesn't?  We had a difficult
time filling cells until we saw the orange LY precipitate
at the tip of the electrode.  Reversing the current (to pos)
iontophoresed the K out of the electrode, but of course this
pulled LY back in.
