I ave managed, now and again, to get a good fill of large neurons using
Lucifer yellow. The problem is now getting them to inactivate by exposing
them to blue light. Everything I have read suggests that it shouldn't take
more than an hour to completely depolarize the cell, yet I am finding that it
can take beyond four hours. This is extremely frstrating, and I worry about
the secondary effects of such prolonged exposure.
Has anyone any experience in these matters? I would be greatly appreciative...
