I have a patient who has a bilateral peripheral neuropathy of her lower
extremities. The constant burning pain was reduced to minimal today by
administering subthreshold TENS upon the bilateral knee joints and
oxygen at 4 lpm for 20 minutes. Does anyone know the references behind
the mechanism of why this would reduce her complaint?
