ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY / NEUROCHEMISTRY
The Department of Chemistry at Trinity College invites applications for a
tenure track position in Analytical Chemistry/ Neurochemistry to begin in
the Fall of1995. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in analytical
chemistry withresearch emphasis in neurochemistry, and be prepared to teach
courses in analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis and introductory
chemistry. Since 40% of the teaching load will be in the Neuroscience
Program, teaching responsibilities also include introductory and advanced
courses in neurochemistry. Research with undergraduate students from
chemistry and neuroscience is expected. Institutional support for research
will be provided. The Department has excellent modern instrumentation
including, GC/LC-MS, HPLC, GC, FT-IR, AAS, SEM/EDX, XRD, and a 300 MHz NMR.
The Chemistry Department is certified by the American Chemical Society and
offers majors in Chemistry and Biochemistry. Members of groups affected by
