I'm looking for treatment efficacy studies for patients who have undergone
complete commisurotomy, with full-blown disconnection syndrome. Specifically,
I am looking for treatment suggestions for left-right antagonism. Much of the
literature I've reviewed simply says that this is an infrequent complication,
and usually spontaneously resolves -- but I have a patient (I'm a speech
therapist) who is approximately four months post surgery, and still suffering
serious symptoms. Does anyone have any info?
Please include "Terri" in your SUBJECT field. Thanks!!
