Although seasonal variation is to be expected, you also rule out
other factors such as environment and disease.
Our lab had expression problems for many weeks last year. Turned out
to be the light/dark cycle. The light timer in the frog room broke
and nobody noticed 'cause nobody ever went up there at night.
Things came back to normal quickly once the timer was fixed.
Hope you get it resolved,
Dan.
