POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AVAILABLE
This position is currently available. It is at the VA Medical Center
in Bay Pines, Florida (St. Petersburg). The salery is about $32000/year
and US citizen is preferred. The work is basic research in the autonomic
nervous system. Micturition, defecation and sexual function are studied
in the rat. Neuroanatomical, neurophysiological and pharmacological
techniques are applied to study the nervous system underlying these
functions. The candidate should have some experience in neurosurgery,
immunohistochemistry, general pharmacology and the use of computers,
recorders and oscilloscopes in the gathering and analysis of data.
