The John Curtin School of Medical Research is seeking to make appointments
in one or more
of its four Divisions:
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
Cell Biology
Clinical Sciences
Neuroscience.
The general focus of research in the School is the cellular and molecular
basis of medicine, and
the appointments may be made in research areas in the biomedical sciences
within the four
Divisions, consistent with the School's research commitments and mission.
Applicants will be expected to have Postdoctoral experience, an excellent
research
background and publication record indicating substantial independent
research ability in a field
relevant to the School's mission, appropriate to the level of appointment
sought.

with a brief outline of proposed research, drawing attention to past
achievements and future
plans. It is anticipated that short-listed candidates will subsequently be
invited to provide a
more detailed research proposal.

Salary: Research Fellow: $A42,198 - $A50,111 p.a.
Fellow: $A51,692 - $A59,605 p.a.
Senior Fellow: $A62,242 - $A68,571 p.a.
Appointment: will be to renewable fixed term positions, up to five years
initially. Extension
for further terms of five years will be subject to review not less than 18
months before the end
of the initial terms.
