I have a relatively simple question: If a group of rat pups were
exposed in utero to a drug, and the exposed group had a significantly
earlier eye opening time than the control pups, what might that say
about the neurodevelopmental effects of the drug? Is it known what
systems are involved in timing of eye opening? Does it have anything at
all to do with the nervous system? Any hints about this would be very
helpful.
