I am a German student and going to finish my Diploma this fall.
I want to make my PhD (officially) at the Free University Berlin,
but the practical part of research at a university in the States.
Does anybody ever tried this and can give me some information about
available scholarships, paperwork, working permission, etc.? Thanks
