Marino,
There is a society for Huntington's Chorea located in New York, which is a
great place to call if you have any questions.
There is a book my Alice Wexler. I just ordered it, and haven't had a
chance to read it yet..It came out in May 95 and is supposed to be quite
good. Alice's mother died of Huntington's, and her sister Nancy and her
father are pretty much the leaders in motivation towards the cure of
Huntington's. Nancy has been going down to Lake Maracaibo, Venezuela for
years to visit a village of people that has a tremendously high percentage
of people affected by Huntington's. It was through Nancy's efforts that
lead to the mapping of the Huntington's gene. You should really get some
literature about Nancy Wexler. She is truly amazing. If you can't get
any, and you are interested, please don't hesitate to ask. I work in The
Scripp's Research Institute and have access to scientific journals and I
would be happy to send you anything.

Pam Foye

P.S. Huntington's runs in my family, if you want to know more about it I
am a resident expert since my mother is severly ill with right now.

Feel free to write
