Would appreciate any information on the condition of a Down Syndrome
child who also had infantile spasms at about 4 months (West Syndrome) and
what the likely prognosis is for mental and physical development over the
long term.
The Child is now 15months old but still muscle tone is poor following
epileptic activity. Current treatment is 6ml of Epilim twice a day. Are
there any other background treatments to prevent breakthrough of seizure
activity?
We are coping but have some fretful moments some days!
