brooke, i will assume that you know how to use medline - there has been
extensive work done on the subject of song control nuclei and neural
regeneration in various species of oscine birds - and i think it is peter
marler and friends who have looked into canaries.
also try alvarez-buylla and fernando nottebohm. their work is fascinating.
