I hope you won't mind a layperson asking for information. My aunt has
degeration of the spinal column. She has been told that her cervical spine has
become very unstable. A minor whiplash could detach her spine and
paralysis would occur. She has been told of a surgery that would consist of
small plates and screws to support and stablize her neck. I don't know the
proper name for the surgery - but any and all info would be appreciated!
