I am an undergraduate at Swarthmore College preparing a reseach project to
assess the activity of matrix metalloproteinases at neuromuscular junctions
in developing chick embryos using zymogram analysis. The protocols I have
seen all use conditioned media, which will be very difficult for me to make
since I don't have access to a CO2 incubator. I was hoping it would be
feasible to use the supernatant from freshly homogenized muscle and neural
tissue samples centrifuged at 100 000 g. If anyone has experience with
this type of procedure I would very much appreciate any advice. My e-mail
