In general I think it's better to apply to specific labs/PI's if you know what
you want to do, which it seems you do. I can recommend the programs at UCSD,
Caltech and UCSF.

These are no problem (what do you mean by hyperaccurate? Very detailed?)

I don't know if this has been done yet. Zach Mainen has done this sort of stuff
with single neurons in vitro.
