Has anyone followed up the suggestion of Dr. Julius Axelrod that
there are neurons specialized for the release of Anandamide (arachidonyl
ethanolamide), the natural cannibinoid ligand in the CNS? These
anadanergic neurons would be of major importance in understanding human
neuropsychology. I would appreciate any information on this.
