I'm a second year student in Medicine, facing the following problem:
When immunosuppressed laboratory rats are intrathecally infected, they
develop a meningitis, instead of a encephalitis, according to our
experimental setting. There is literature available about HCMV induced
encephalitis, but little is published about HCMV induced meningitis.
Any kind of information on this subject is welcome !!
