Throughout the ages, the brain has been likened to many different machines as
people have tried to understand its functioning. Some examples:
- a radiator to cool the blood
- a switchboard
- a computer
- a hologram
Can anyone point me to more information about these and any other similar
"comparisons" that people throughout history have made to the brain?
