Can anybody point me to work describing the neuroanatomical
substrates of prestimulus inhibition of the startle response? I have
been able to find quite a number of papers addressing the circuitry
mediating the acoustic startle response, but precious little dealing
the anatomy underlying its modification by innocuous pre-stimuli.
