Since 1995, we are maintaining a sequence database for the
[extracellularly activated] Ligand Gated Ion Channels:
http://www.pasteur.fr/units/neubiomol/LGIC.html
You can find cDNA and protein subunits sequences under the gcg format.
Soon you will be able to get optimised multipled alignments, under
diverse formats as well as phylogenetic trees.
The database is almost complete for nAChR, relatively complete for
chloride channel and ATP activated channel, and partial for
glutamate cationic receptors.
